TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training & Assessment Course Overview
Units of Competency:
The TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment includes a total of 12 units (6 core units & 6 electives).
Practical Assessments & Workplace Training:
The course includes practical assessments where learners plan, deliver, and review training sessions, as well as conduct assessments in line with VET standards. Workplace-based activities help learners apply their skills in real training and assessment environments.
Equivalence:
TAE40122 is equivalent to TAE40116 at the qualification level, but most individual units are not. This limits credit transfer opportunities when transitioning between the two.
Course Duration & Delivery:
This course is delivered by a fully supported face-to-face, virtual online, or self-paced pay per unit delivery mode, or you can select the express trainer mentoring for personalised support & guidance. Students will have up to 12 months to complete the TAE course, depending on the selected delivery mode & the learner’s skills, knowledge and study pace.
*Please note that students are also required to have access to a real workplace environment (RTO) to complete mandatory workplace assessment components.
